November was a busy busy time for Northeastern Mock Trial! The start of our post-stack season, attending invitationals, and of course, hosting our very own!
Team “Nothing but the Truth”
Goes to Rutgers University!
On Veterans Day Weekend, Team “Northing But the Truth” traveled all the way to New Jersey for Rutger University’s Scarlet Knight Invitational.
The team came in 3rd place with a record of 6-1-1 and had a great bonding experience at their first ever travel tournament.
Team “The Truth” at the Inaugural Howling Husky Classic!
The following weekend, Team “The Truth” didn’t have to travel far for their first post-stack invitational. The team made history, placing in 4th with a record of 6-2 at Northeastern’s first ever tournament! Go Huskies!
Northeastern’s Inaugural Howling Husky Classic
This November, Northeastern Mock Trial successfully hosted our first ever American Mock Trial Association tournament: the Howling Husky Classic! From endless planning all the way back in July, the tournament planners, e-board, alumni, and club members worked hard to make this happen. A total of 16 teams traveled to our Boston campus to participate and we can’t help but think about how much our program has grown in the past 6 years! So grateful for all the time, effort, and love given to this program.
Teams “The Whole Truth” and “Nothing But the Truth” run the Boston Mockathon!
The following weekend after Howling Husky, two of our Northeastern teams took the short commute to Boston College for their annual Mockathon! Team “Nothing But the Truth” came in 5th place with a record of 5-3. What a way to wrap up the fall semester.
This was quite the successful start to the post-stack season! We hope everyone has a restful holiday and couldn’t be prouder of what this program has accomplished in the fall. See you see in 2025 with more mock trial!
