Northeastern Mock Trial returned back to Boston from winter break with a full schedule ahead of them! January was full of case changes, lots of practice, and of course, fun times.
Team “Nothing But the Truth” Goes to Drexel… kinda!
On January 18th, Team “Nothing But the Truth” made the long drive down to Philadelphia for Drexel’s Dragon Invitational. The team had to leave a bit early to avoid a crazy snow storm so they didn’t get stuck in Philadelphia… but they went 4-0 on the first day! Yay!
Next up, Double Tournament Weekend!
Team “The Truth” Goes to Quinnipiac!
The following weekend after Drexel, Team “The Truth” traveled just a little closer to Connecticut. The team mock trial-ed their hearts out! Woohoo! Also shoutout to Kaedyn for filling in as an attorney.
Team “The Whole Truth”
Goes to Wesleyan!
On that very same weekend, we had another team next door at Wesleyan’s Cardinal Classic!
The team had a lot of last minute fill-ins, some side switching, some attorneys witnessing… but team “The Whole Truth” went 4-4! So exciting!
Now on the Road to Regionals!
January wrapped up Northeastern Mock Trial’s invitational schedule! Next up Regionals (and lots and lots of scrimmages).
Team “The Truth” will be competing on Week 3 in Providence and Teams “The Whole Truth” and “Nothing but the Truth” will be competing on Week 4 in Connecticut! Stay tuned for our success :)
