Scrimmages, Invitationals, and meetings galore, January was a month of preparation.

On the weekend of January 13th-14th, B Team competed at Drexel University’s Dragon Invitational. They came out with a second place finish with a record of 6-2! Archit Mehrotra was honored as an outstanding witness on the defense!

Two weeks later, A and C Team went down to Connecticut for Wesleyan and Quinnipiac’s Invitationals. A Team finished with a record of 4-3-1 at Wesleyan University’s Cardinal Classic and C Team finished with a record of 4-4 at Quinnipiac’s Bobcat Invitational. Christine Guarnieri was named an outstanding attorney!

Scrimmages

When we weren’t competing at invitationals, we held inter-club scrimmages: A prosecution v. C defense , A prosecution v. A defense , and B prosecution v. A defense. Additionally, B team scrimmaged Wellesley Mock Trial’s B Team as both prosecution and defense.

Even though January is coming to a close, Northeastern Mock Trial has much more in store: Regionals!! Wish us good luck this weekend and throughout the rest of February!
